RankStarz LLC ("RankStarz", "we", "us", or "our") operates the rankstarz.com website and review automation service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

When you upload or input your customers' information into RankStarz, you remain the data controller for that information. RankStarz acts as a data processor on your behalf.

Backups may persist for up to 30 additional days before being overwritten.

RankStarz is operated from the United States. If you access our service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.

RankStarz enables businesses to send SMS text messages to their customers requesting reviews of services or products those customers have received. When you receive an SMS from a RankStarz client business, we process your phone number, the message content, and delivery metadata (timestamp, delivery status) for the sole purpose of facilitating that review request.
Consent Requirement
RankStarz sends SMS messages only to consumers who have given prior express consent to a participating business at the point of providing their phone number. Each business using the RankStarz platform attests that it has obtained this consent for every phone number it enters into our system. We do not send SMS to anyone whose number was not entered with documented consent.
Non-Sharing of Mobile Phone Numbers
We do not sell, rent, lease, or share mobile phone numbers or any SMS opt-in data with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely to deliver the services you've requested (such as review request messages from a RankStarz client whose service you used) and is not shared with affiliates or partners for their own marketing.
SMS Data Retention
We retain SMS records (phone number, message content, and delivery metadata) for 12 months for compliance, dispute resolution, and quality assurance purposes, then permanently delete them. Aggregate, de-identified statistics may be retained indefinitely.
Mobile Carrier Notice
SMS communications travel through your mobile carrier's network and are subject to your carrier's own privacy practices and terms of service. RankStarz is not responsible for data collected or retained by your carrier in connection with SMS delivery.
Opt-Out Instructions
Every SMS sent through RankStarz supports the following opt-out keywords: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. Reply with any of these keywords to immediately opt out and stop receiving further messages from that business through the RankStarz platform. Reply HELP to receive help information. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation SMS and no further messages will be sent.
Account Holder SMS
When you sign up for RankStarz as a business user, you consent to receive transactional emails (account notifications, billing, support replies) and SMS related to your account. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Your customers receive SMS only when you initiate review requests through RankStarz. Unsubscribe links are included in every review request email.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you via email or an in-app banner.
Continued use of RankStarz after changes means you accept the updated policy.
